RAC has launched a new service that allows dealers to post their RAC inspected vehicles online - allowing them to reach a prospective 2m customers a month.

Every RAC inspected vehicle comes with a written RAC report on its condition, covering a number of physical checks to ensure it is mechanically and structurally sound. The buyer has the reassurance that every vehicle viewed has had a history and mileage check.

RAC say by signing up to the inspected vehicle programme, a dealership could benefit from a 25% increase in sales and 33% increase in gross profit.

Daniel Burgess, director of automotive for HPI, said: "The RAC Inspected vehicle programme is proven to be successful and helps to protect the dealer's profit margins.
