Royal & SunAlliance has launched a worldwide cargo insurance product.

R&SA is market One Stop Cargo at SMEs and general merchandise cargo owners. It has been developed along similar lines to the insurer's Simply Cargo product in the UK.

Simon Lee, chief executive of international businesses at R&SA, said: "We believe 'One Stop Cargo' further demonstrates our commitment to the marine sector through innovation in the market at a competitive price. 'One Stop Cargo' builds on the success of our UK product, Simply Cargo, outside the UK, starting with Asia, the Middle East and Ireland.

"Cargo cover is offered by relatively few expert brokers. 'One Stop Cargo' makes the product simple to understand, more economical to administer and, through the use of e-technology, more accessible to our customers. Through its introduction, we will open up the market to a wider broker base who can now benefit from our global marine expertise."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
