Moody's has downgraded the A- performance rating of Lloyd's Syndicate 779, St Paul Travelers Syndicate Management to B+.
Moody's said it lowered the rating because of the negative implications arising from delayed negotiations over the sale of management rights to the syndicate. A deal is yet to be finalised.
The outlook for the rating is stable.
