Steve Price has joined the RBS Insurance personal lines executive team as Direct Line motor director.

Price will initially report to personal lines managing director Tom Woolgrove.

He has moved from Tesco Bank where he has been responsible for providing senior business consultancy on a range of issues to help facilitate the migration of Tesco bank insurance business to new insurance partners.

Prior to this, Price was head of general insurance propositions at HSBC.

Woolgrove said: "Steve’s appointment represents another key stage in shaping the Direct Line motor business for the future and Steve brings with him a wealth of experience in proposition development, financial management and stakeholder engagement, which will be an invaluable benefit to our business."

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
