Money pounds cash Pensions Insight

Aston Scott and The Insurance Partnership have scooped up the assets of troubled insurance broker Riverbourne Group, safeguarding the jobs of its entire workforce.

Administrators Wilkins Kennedy had been working on a deal to get the assets sold since Riverbourne fell into administration on 19 February. Riverbourne has two offices, one in Caterham in Surrey and the other in Leeds in Yorkshire.

Wilkins Kennedy insurance partner Stephen Grant said: “I am delighted to have sold the business and would like to thank all the employees who have helped us to keep trading the business and for the support of the creditors which has allowed us to preserve value.”
