New positions created following successful pilot.

RSA has introduced broker-focused teams to support the needs and wants of its intermediaries.

New roles have been created following a successful pilot with a small number of brokers. The new positions include strategic relationship manager, trading partner, service delivery and claims delivery partner.

Paul Donaldson, managing director, broker at RSA, said: “We're continually looking at how we can best serve our brokers. We're strengthening and enhancing our trading capability, while at the same time striving to improve the service we're providing across our operations and claims areas of the business. I have no doubt that these changes will make it quicker and easier for brokers to do business with us.”

The strategic relationship manager will lead the RSA team, which will include a sales partner, operational service delivery partner, claims service delivery partner and a trading partner. Other people from across the business including accounts, e-business, HR and marketing will join the team where required.

Meanwhile, the trading partner will work with their colleagues across trading to support brokers in whatever area or industry sector their customers are in. RSA said it wants to trade locally with its brokers.

Finally, the service delivery partner and claims delivery partner will be central key points for escalation to resolve claims or other operational issues.
