Analysts say RSA is a favourite to take a look at Groupama’s UK assets
RSA is being tipped as a potential bidder for Groupama’s UK insurance company, according to analysts.
RSA, now headed by Simon Lee (pictured above), made a £5bn bid for Aviva’s general insurance arm in 2010, but failed to land a deal.
The UK-based insurer is cash rich and largely unaffected by the eurozone crisis plaguing its rivals.
