RSA agrees affinity deal for buildings and contents insurance

RSA has been appointed by emergency repair firm HomeServe as the sole provider of buildings and contents insurance policies.

New business is being accepted and existing policies will start to migrate from January 2011.

RSA affinity managing director, Mark Allan, said: “This is another fantastic win for the affinity team.

"We have a long and valued relationship with HomeServe and this new partnership further demonstrates our ability to work flexibly to provide suitable products to serve the needs and wants of our partners and their customers."

Craig Foster, Homeserve director of products, added: “We have always seen home insurance as a natural fit with our core home emergency products and so are delighted to have agreed this new deal with RSA to provide a competitive product for our customers.”

RSA’s team for the HomeServe account will be overseen by Tim Wright, home partnerships director and managed by Luke Robbins, key account manager.
