Friends and family of Sean Quinn removed from boards

Quinn Insurance's administrators have purged Sean Quinn’s family and close allies from the boards of all the insurer's 25 subsidiaries, the Irish independent reports.

Those subsidiaries may be sold separately to Quinn Insurance. They include firms holding property assets, hotel chains and a wind farm.

An “information memorandum” is expected to be sent to potential buyers this week. These Independent says these include Liberty Mutual, FBD, Aviva, RSA and Anglo Irish Bank.
