Ian McManus leaves broker to start his own consulting company
Ian McManus has left Aon.
The former consumer and private clients director has left the company after three years to start his own consulting company.
IMGI Consulting was founded on 4 April 2018 and according to LinkedIn, McManus left Aon in March and is now the only director and member of staff at the new company.
He commented: “At Aon I have had the privilege to work with some of the best people in the market and I wish them and Aon every success in the future.”
Previously, before joining Aon in March 2015, McManus spent 12 years at Zurich where he ended up as head of personal lines broking.
Before that, he was an account manager at AXA for one year.
Aon has been approached for comment.
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
