Two specialist insurance brokers have been named in the Sunday Times ‘Profit Track 100’ list of private companies with the fastest-growing profits.
Liverpool-based motor broker Acorn Insurance ranked 53rd in the list, after growing profit by 76.39% over the past three years.
Acorn specialises in niche motor insurance, including modified or imported vehicles and drivers with more limited access to insurance, such as learners or those with motoring convictions.
Also on the list is Wilstshire-based pet insurance broker Animal Friends, which ranked 79th, after growing profits by 61.5% over three years.
The company was founded in 1998 by managing director Elaine Fairfax and her husband Chris.
