A new joint venture – Triton – that offers risk management, loss adjusting and and claims administration was launched this week by a trio of specialist companies.

The three firms, CR Vince & Associates, Devonshire Claims Service and Courtney Smith are targeting professional indemnity (PI) underwriters, particularly those who specialise in construction.

US-based CR Vince & Associates is a claims management provider specialising in PI and non-standard liability claims, while UK-based Courtney Smith provides loss adjusting, surveying and engineering expertise for PI and liability claims. London-based Devonshire Claims Service's work ranges from one-off investigations to full claims portfolio administration.

Devonshire managing director Neil McManus said the combined resources of the three companies would bring together global experience of surveyors, adjusters, lawyers, engineers, architects, project managers and risk managers.

"Triton Claims will enable PI underwriters, particularly those specialising in the construction industry, to immediately improve the level of services they receive," McManus said.

Triton can provide packaged services but loss adjusting, claims administration or risk management are also available on an individual basis.
