Sterling adds Northern broker boss

Sterling Insurance Company has appointed James Leigh as regional development manager for the North.

Leigh will report to commercial and personal lines director David Sweeney and will be responsible for the development of broker relationships in the north of England, including Manchester and Leeds.

He has worked in the Insurance Industry for almost 20 years and joins Sterling from PMI Health Group where he was senior commercial consultant and he assisted in the development of a commercial broking facility. He has also worked for Allianz and ABC Insurance.

Sweeney said: “In a previous role James worked to establish a presence within the North West insurance market, with great success.

"He has a wealth of relevant experience which will be a real benefit in developing business opportunities and key broker relationships.”
