Sterling plots North West expansion with new hire

Sterling Insurance has hired Paul Whiston as the new regional development manager for the North West in a bid to expand the business in that region.

Whiston joins from Evolution Underwriting where he was a business development executive for the North. He has also previously held various roles in broking, underwriting and account management. 

Sterling Insurance north regions manager Simon Hodgin said: “Paul has a vast wealth of experience in both the commercial and high net worth household markets and has a real desire to work closely with brokers in the area.”

Whiston added: “I have been very much aware of Sterling’s presence in the region for some time now and was delighted to be given the opportunity to work with them towards their next stage of growth in the North West.”
