Stuart Reid takes CII chairman role

Bluefin chief executive Stuart Reid has been appointed chairman of the Chartered Insurance Institute’s (CII) insurance broking faculty.

Reid will work with other faculty board members to help raise levels of professional knowledge and technical competence across the broking sector.

Reid replaces Lynn Richards-Cole, development director at Aon Risk Solutions, who has stepped down after nearly two years in the voluntary role.

Reid said: “The insurance broking faculty does invaluable work for its members and their organisations.

“As chair I aim to carry on the good work already being done by encouraging and promoting the highest standards of competence, expertise and professionalism for all.”
