Budget airline EasyJet has been hit by a significant increase in its insurance premiums, it said yesterday. However, it still expects to report a first half pre-tax profit.
Chairman Stelios Haji-Ioannou said: "This increase in insurance has been more than offset by favourable fuel prices."
