Insurer boss gets the girl (after Bond)

Neil Utley, IAG UK’s rather suave chief executive, was spotted at a charity auction at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art (known to luvvies as Rada) last week, mingling with the likes of John Hurt and Alan Rickman.

Utley, who was the guest of Sterling chairman Nick Cooper, showed he had a keen eye for talent, successfully bidding for a day with actress Gemma Arterton, who plays Agent Fields in the latest 007 movie, Quantum of Solace.

Lucky Utley will enjoy a day on set with Arterton, who is filming Prince of Persia.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
