Dennis Mahoney will step down at the end of the month
Dennis Mahoney, Aon Global’s chairman, is set to leave the broker at the end of the month.
In an email to staff on Tuesday, Greg Case, the company’s chief executive, said Mahoney, who relocated to Bermuda more than two years ago for the launch of Aon Global, would retire at the end of the month. Mahoney was the chief executive of Aon UK.
He said that it was with “great appreciation for an incredible career” that he announced the retirement of one of Aon’s most recognised industry veterans.
“Dennis spent 25 of his 40 years in the industry at Aon . . . and has been a tremendous leader in our firm.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
