Antur Insurance achieves Chartered status

South Wales insurance broker, Antur, has been awarded Chartered status from the Chartered Insurance Institute (CII).

Chartered status is an exclusive title only awarded to firms which meet rigorous criteria relating to professionalism and capability.

David Roberts, managing director at Antur Insurance, said: “To achieve recognition from the insurance industry is a real coup for the company and it is testament to the hard work of our staff who are committed to providing the very highest levels of service to customers.

“At Antur we aim to promote from within and recognise hard work and loyalty. We have made significant investments in training for our staff such as a management training programme and mentor-scheme to allow employees to build on their skills and progress in their careers.”

To date, less than 100 firms have achieved Chartered status, indicating that this is a highly exclusive award reserved for the leading firms of the broking industry. In Wales, Antur is the third insurance broker to achieve Chartered status.

CII president Barry Smith said: “We are delighted that Antur has achieved Chartered Broker status, reflecting their strong support for professionalism.

"Antur’s commitment to ethical behaviour, customer service and staff training demonstrates that their business has reached the gold standard in insurance, something that’s recognised by consumers who place greater trust in Chartered Brokers like Antur.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
