Independent Insurance has announced its regular magical mystery bus tour, this time in two luxury coaches kitted out with individual seats, computer screens and even personal video spectacles.

The company will call on its top 200 brokers throughout the country during the four month tour and will discuss risk management, making Independent's senior decision makers available to brokers and how to harness new technology.

There is also likely to be a bit of the amber nectar administered.

"We develop ideas, listen hard, agree a plan and then have a drink afterwards," says chief executive Michael Bright.

He reckons it is the biggest investment the company makes in business relationships. "But we know it pays off," he says.
