Giant broker Willis is holding trials of the use of the WISe Business centre and Data exchange to introduce the de-linking process to its back office procedures.
Willis is carrying out the project in conjunction with Lloyd's and the London Processing Centre.
De-linking allows technical accounts (invoices to clients and advice notes to underwriters) and financial settlements to be processed separately. Successful implementation will allow improved signing times, earlier resolution of queries, and more efficient premium flow.
