Former Travelers chief actuary and LV personal lines underwriting head join Willis Towers Watson’s Insurance Consulting and Technology business

Willis Towers Watson has made two senior appointment to its Insurance Consulting and Technology business as it aims to satisfy growing demand for its services.

Neil Bruce joins Willis Towers Watson from Travelers Syndicate Management, where he was chief actuary for nine years.

Commenting on his new appointment, Neil said: “I’m looking forward to harnessing the vast capability of the Willis Towers Watson group, which has a strong track record for solving business problems through its deep understanding of insurance and cutting-edge technical and software solutions.”

Bruce will be joined by Tim Rourke, who has held a number of senior roles at LV, including head of broker pricing and head of personal lines underwriting.

Rourke said: “I am delighted to be responsible for developing new consulting propositions for our clients in order to help them achieve improved business performance, as the sector continues to face a volatile and challenging risk environment.”
