BROKER Direct Choice is to create up to 200 jobs over the next three years to staff a new office in Ipswich.
The personal lines specialist offers a range of policies from a panel of more than 30 insurers.
The company, which has been in business for 27 years, credited the launch of a website with accelerating its growth.
It is currently based in Newmarket, Suffolk.
The Ipswich office will open in April but the company is already looking to recruit 12 people.
Managing partner Adrian Parry said: "During the current difficult market conditions, it comes as no surprise that many insurance companies are looking reducing staffing levels.
"However, as we have been experiencing steady growth year on year for the last ten years, and have reached capacity in our current headquarters in Newmarket, this was the logical step."
