Aberdeen broker Central Insurance Services is moving to a new business park.
The broker will double the size of its office to 15,000 square feet when it moves in summer 2007.
Dave Thomson, managing director, said: “The insurance market is changing significantly. Most of the major insurance companies are centralising, and there is a continuing consolidation of brokers across the UK. This underlines the need for strong independent brokers with the ability to provide corporate clients with a personal service.
“While we have been in the west end of Aberdeen since the mid 70s and it has served us well, the larger premises, designed and networked to contemporary standards, will facilitate the continuing growth of our business.
“We are moving to an excellent site, which offers state-of-the-art premises on a development which will consist of predominantly office-based businesses with no heavy industry.”
Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
