ACE joins PowerPlace insurer panel and promises more
ACE has joined the insurer panel of online commercial insurance marketplace PowerPlace.
ACE's directors & officers’ product will be the first D&O proposition available on PowerPlace.
Pat Drinan, director of corporate risk at ACE, said: “ACE understand the importance of the web as a distribution tool for commercial lines.
"Brokers are increasingly looking for the ability to compare the marketplace quickly and efficiently, and get access to competitive cover – not just for the simpler lines of business but also for specialty products traditionally viewed as perhaps too complex for online quote and buy."
He said ACE would add more products to PowerPlace next year.
PowerPlace commercial director, Nick Giddings, added: “Bringing ACE on board marks a major leap forward for PowerPlace.
"We’ve been keen to work more closely with the London market in order to extend the range of products we can make available to brokers into more specialist areas such as D&O, professional indemnity and marine cargo."
