Affiliated FM, the UK middle market division of leading property insurer FM Global, has set a target of £10m premium income for its Manchester office this year.
Affiliated FM director Jeff Fields said that the insurer saw growth in the local SME market particularly the local engineering and manufacturing sectors.
"We have seen since opening our Manchester office last year that the local presence does work to our advantage. We have been approached by Northern regional brokers keen to develop a local
relationship."
Manchester-based Affiliated FM production underwriter Anna Spink, said that its pricing had been competitive, processing times fast and that the insurer was ready to launch a new insurance product for the manufacturing sector later this year.
