Aon has said it is considering a number of “strategic alternatives” regarding the ownership of its warranty, credit insurance and property and casualty underwriting businesses.
Greg Case, Aon's president and chief executive, said: "By exploring alternatives, we expect to determine whether the potential of our warranty, credit and property and casualty businesses can be more fully realised under different ownership."
