Aon has handed the administration for part of its personal lines business to OutRight Company UK.

Under the outsourcing agreement OutRight will administer household, motor, travel and add-on insurance products to

Aon's portfolio of existing customers trading under the Aon Select brand.

The deal follows Out-Right's recent agreement to acquire Willis' employee benefit business - Willis First Response - and re-brand it as First Response.

Aon Personal managing director Tony Martin said: "We have been impressed with OutRight's panel management capabilities. Our sales and marketing team will continue to work closely with our clients and prospects in driving new inquiries to the OutRight set up."

OutRight, which was created from a management buyout of HSBC Select this year, has an initial agreement to run the account for five years.

OutRight chief executive Bob Bright said: "I am delighted that OutRight has achieved these high profile account wins within just six months of launching the company. By working with such prestigious clients we are proving that OutRight can be relied upon to provide a quality service and a profitable deal."
