Board director Simon Jeffreys steps into role
Aon UK has named Simon Jeffreys (pictured) as its new non-executive chairman, replacing Bruce Carnegie-Brown.
Carnegie-Brown, a former chief executive of rival broker Marsh’s UK and EMEA divisions, became Aon UK’s non-executive chairman in September 2012.
New chairman Jeffreys has been a director on Aon UK’s broad since 2009.
Aon UK chief executive Dominic Christian said: “[Jeffreys] brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge which will be of benefit both to Aon and to our clients.
“We would also like to take this opportunity to thank Bruce Carnegie-Brown for his very considerable contribution to the growth of Aon in the UK and to wish him every success for the future.”
The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
