Aspen has announced three promotions in its aviation and specialty reinsurance teams and the creation of a new position of head of aviation and specialty reinsurance.
David Whiter will take up the new role of head of aviation and specialty reinsurance. He has over 25 years aviation insurance and reinsurance industry experience.
Martin Jackson becomes senior underwriter for aviation. Jackson has worked in the aviation underwriting industry for 22 years and has held various senior positions during this period.
Lee Tookey is named senior underwriter for speciality reinsurance. Tookey began his reinsurance career as an actuary with St Paul Re in London in 1994.
Chris O'Kane, chief executive of Aspen, said: “I am delighted to announce these promotions into what are very significant roles within Aspen. Retaining and developing our best underwriting talent is fundamental to Aspen's success and is reflected in the strength of our recent numbers, with a record fourth quarter net income contributing to a record full year result.”
