Thornside agrees three year deal with insurer
Thornside, the pet insurance division of Capita Insurance Distribution, has been appointed by Aviva to provide and administer its new pet insurance product for the next three years.
Wayne Ewing, marketing and product manager at Aviva said: “We have been working closely with Thornside to refine our pet insurance offering and are very pleased to be launching a competitive product to rival some of the biggest players in the market.
"Thornside have brought with them vast amounts of experience and expertise and their support and product knowledge will help us provide cover options which will suit our customers’ needs.”
From November 5, the policy will offer three different levels of cover: Gold, Silver and Platinum.
David Seel, managing director of Thornside, added: “Having consulted with Aviva on their customers’ requirements, we have designed a product to meet their specific requirements. Aviva is already a big name in the insurance market and we are excited about helping them establish themselves as a major name within the pet insurance sector.”
