General insurance comparison service continues to grow
Capita Group subsidiaries, BDML Connect and Webline, have announced that BDS Mortgage Group is the latest network to sign up to mychoice, the general insurance comparison service.
Accessed through Webline’s internet based quotation and fulfillment portal, BDS Mortgage Group members will have free use of mychoice to obtain a comparison of buildings and contents insurance based upon common policy wordings.
Mychoice is a new entrant to the general insurance intermediary marketplace and combines a number of design innovations previously only available direct to consumers.
The companies said that the single common policy wording had been agreed by the panel which meant that BDS members could demonstrate to their clients a fair ‘like-for-like’ price comparison unlike any other system.
They added that the ability to buy online could be swiftly accomplished using the online fulfilment facility with electronic signature-less application and a direct debit process.

BDML Connect, part of Capita Insurance Services, specialises in personal lines solutions for affinity clients. Based in Portsmouth, the company employs 450 staff and administers £112m of personal lines gross written premium.
