Insurance rating agency A.M. Best has given London-based QBE International Insurance an excellent financial strength rating following the completion of its acquisition of Iron Trades.
The group's rating had been under review since December 1999 while funding arrangements for the acquisition were finalised.
This acquisition will now enable the QBE Group to broaden its range of insurance products.
