Admiral has launched a new Manchester-based automobile repair centre in partnership with accident repair firm The Vella Group.
The co-branded Manchester centre is the first of a national rollout of repair facilities that will be exclusively available to Admiral customers and has been designed to support a “high-volume area to get drivers back on the road with ease”.
Furthermore, the firm said the site will act as a “testbed for innovation, trialling new technologies and processes to enhance the customer experience across Admiral’s wider repair network”.
The new technologies include “future-ready” provisions for electric vehicles (EVs), including charging facilities, specialist tools and expert technicians.
Admiral also said the centre had been created with the additional intention of reducing the environmental impact of motor claims, with The Vella Group committing to the science-based targets initiative of industry-wide decarbonisation.

Scott McCammon, head of motor repair at Admiral, said: “We’re excited to announce the launch of a new co-branded repair centre in partnership with The Vella Group.
