Clem Booth, member of the board of Allianz SE, has been named the 2007 chair of ACORD's board of directors. John Kellington, chief technology officer and senior vice president of Ohio Casualty Group, has been selected as the chair-elect.
Booth joined the management board of Allianz SE in January 2006 and is responsible for the insurance markets of the UK, Ireland and Australia, the reinsurance business, Allianz Global Risks, Allianz Marine & Aviation and Allianz Risk Transfer. Prior to that he served as Chairman and CEO of Aon Re International.
Kellington is credited with the transformation of Ohio Casualty Group's technology into a state-of-the-art platform. Prior to becoming CTO at Ohio Casualty Group, Kellington was architect and principal for IBM Global Services' National Insurance Practice and held many positions during his 18-year career at IBM. He also serves as the current chair of the ACORD Standards Committee.
