Broker Assistance, the motor claims management company for insurance brokers, has said it needs to more than double its workforce in the next three months and is looking to recruit around 100 new staff to meet the rapidly increasing demand for its services.

Broker Assistance said the need for such high levels of new staff is a direct result of significant business wins and acquisitions at the end of last year coupled with an overall increase in the volume of existing business.

In October 2005 Broker Assistance won a contract with Alexander Forbes Corporate Risk solutions to handle the transactional motor claims suffered by its commercial clients and, on December 1, it announced the acquisition of the Accidentcare brand from Aquilo.

Jon Ralph, Broker Assistance's managing director, said, “One of our key business aims is to become the industry's leading broker motor claims outsource partner by 2008, and, as this recruitment drive helps to demonstrate, we are on target to achieve that.

“Not only are we growing at an unprecedented level, we are also preparing to announce substantial new business wins in the coming weeks, and, in the past two months, have made two key appointments which underpin our ambitious aims and objectives.

"I'm obviously delighted that 2006 has got off to such a positive start and I'm looking forward to updating the market with our achievements when our end of year results are published in April.”
