Towergate-owned network adds new partner to insurer panel

Broker Network and Countrywide has made a double appointment in its insurer relations team.

Dave Wilkins has joined from AXA Insurance, where he held a number of key account management and new business positions.

Emma Parr has joined from Ecclesiastical Insurance, where most recently, she was as a development manager for Broker Network and Countrywide.

The network has also launched a new, non-transferable and exclusive commercial combined product through Broker Network Underwriting.

Meanwhile, the company has also added high new work home insurer Home & Legacy as a new partner on its insurer panel.

Network division chief executive Gary Duggan (pictured) said: “There is a real sense of momentum gathering within network as we now look to build on the progress made in 2012.

“Our newly expanded insurer relations team will help us to further focus our efforts on the development of new products and the securing of additional markets for Members to help them win and retain clients.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
