Capita Insurance Services (Capita) has signed a three-year deal with the Motor Insurers' Bureau (MIB) to provide volume motor liability services, in a deal worth around £750,000.

Under the contract, Capita will provide liability reporting services that determine the potential value of cases as well as their authenticity. The contract will be delivered by Capita's newly formed business, Inverita, which offers fraud prevention, detection and management, investigation and recovery services.

This business brings Brownsword, Investigation Services and Advanced Validation Services under one management structure.

The aim of the service is to ensure legitimate victims of untraceable or uninsured motorists are suitably compensated through the MIB, according to Capita.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.
