Capita Group has today issued a trading update ahead of its preliminary results announcement for the period ending 31 December 2006, due to be released on 22 February 2007.

Capita reported that the strong first half revenue growth has continued in the second half. The group highlighted a number of outsourcing projects which it had become involved in since the release of its interim results. These included
Work with Prudential UK and the delivery of business processing activities to Co-operative Insurance.

To date in 2006, Capita has won or extended major contracts worth £1.37bn (FY 2005: £1.14bn).

Across the Group, the statement reported a number of successes in securing contracts with both new and existing customers as well as increasing the scope of existing contracts.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
