Chubb Insurance Company of Europe has boosted its marine cargo team with two new appointments.
Chubb has appointed Kevin Docherty and Geoff Wilkinson to its London cargo underwriting team.
Docherty, who will be based at Chubb's Fenchurch Street office, will have responsibility for developing the company's capabilities in the UK retail cargo field. Before joining Chubb, Docherty was senior production underwriter (cargo) for CAN Insurance.
Wilkinson will be based at Lloyd's. He joins Chubb from Goshawk Syndicate 102.
Chubb European marine manager Robert Cage said: "At a time when we're focusing our energies on boosting our marine cargo portfolio, they are both welcome additions to our team.
"Kevin's substantial experience in the industry will ensure we can focus on developing our capabilities while Geoff's talents will further enhance the current expertise of the Lloyd's cargo underwriting team."
