Coventry broker switches back office system to software provider

Circle Insurance Services has moved its entire business onto the Acturis platform following an extensive review of market systems.

The Coventry-based broker, which also has offices in Nottingham, Congleton and Glasgow is, said it took a decision in January to move its entire back office system onto Acturis.

Tony Norcott, managing director of Circle said: “After a well managed three month implementation including data migration from the incumbent system, we went live on 1st April without any time slippages or budget overruns.

"Acturis delivered exactly what they promised. We have also been looking at how we can make more use of eCommerce in our business and we will be one of the first brokers to implement a web based Client Access Portal on Acturis to enable all existing clients to access their policy records, claims and documents online.

"This will improve service immeasurably - especially for larger clients. Moreover we will be making use of Acturis’ extensive and leading Commercial Lines eTrade capability which we feel will have a significant impact on our business efficiency.”

Theo Duchen, co-chief executive of Acturis, added: “Brokers like Circle are the bedrock of the broking industry and we are extremely proud to have been selected as Circle’s partner. We also believe that Acturis can make a real difference to Circle and its customers, and we look forward to working with Circle to achieve this.”
