The Claims Standards Council (CSC) has appointed a steering committee to guide the development of its standards for the claims management industry.

Appointments to the committee include: former High Court Judge Sir Philip Otton; Marlene Winfield OBE, who advised Lord Woolf on the access to justice review; and Rodger Pannone, senior partner of law firm Pannone & Partners and a member of Lord Woolf's working party on multiple claims.

The CSC said further members would be announced shortly.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
