Meanwhile, Laura Paterson from Allianz was successful in the individual award category, picking up the trophy for Outstanding Claims Individual of the Year.
Here is a list of all of our award winners.
Industry Claims Training Initiative of the Year
Winner: Sterling
Judges: The standard of entries to this category was extremely high and the judges found it difficult to pick an outright winner. But they ended up picking an insurer with a great example of contributing to the industry as a whole – sharing its claims expertise and capability both internally and externally with brokers, many of whom didn’t even work with them.
Fraud Prevention Initiative of the Year
Winner: LV=
Judges: A smart initiative that adds to its existing fraud prevention measures, bringing together different silos in the business to proactively identify the next layer of fraud.
Legal Partner of the Year - sponsored by Zurich
Winner: Horwich Farrelly Solicitors
Judges: This law firm worked very closely with a major insurer in an innovative holistic way that really pushed the boundaries in helping to solve the big issue of combating fraudulent low severity impact claims. And it did so, refreshingly, without being based on an economics-led approach.
