Clausen Miller Europe (CME) has taken on Italian law firm Studio Legale Corapi as a new member of its multi-national insurance law partnership.

Studio has joined founder CME members Hextall Erskine, Clausen Miller from the US and La Giraudière Larroze & Associés of France.

The partnership has its headquarters in London and specialises in legal services to the insurance industry.

Hextall Erskine partner John Startin said he had known Studio senior partner Diego Corapi for some years and felt very fortunate to have him on board.

“He's a highly respected lawyer with a wealth of experience in insurance as well as other practice areas,” Startin said.

“His approach is very suited to the CME partnership and our strong and effective working relationship.”

Corapi said he was very happy to join CME. “We hope that our partners will benefit from the co-operation of our firm and will take advantage of our experience in the Italian arena,” he said.
