Combined Insurance has awarded a £4m contract to LogicaCMG to extend its infrastructure and management system, Endeavour, to the UK and Ireland.
The system is currently in place in Australia.
Combined Insurance said extending the Endeavour system will bring substantial savings and is part of a wider drive to consolidate the company's international activities into one system.
The Endeavour system helps to reduce information duplication, allows better data-mining, automates billing and provides more accurate customer profiling, Combined Insurance said.
