Cooper Gay Swett & Crawford has appointed Brent Kruger as group chief information officer.

Kruger, previously CIO at Aon Risk Solutions, will now lead all of the broker's IT initiatives in the newly-created role.

He will also work on outsourcing and existing technology programmes.

Cooper Gay group chief executive Toby Esser said: "IT is an integral part of every element of our business and it is therefore essential that all our systems and partnerships are operating at maximum efficiency. Brent’s newly created role will be not only to drive these efficiencies, but also to deliver a flexible platform that will enable our business to grow globally.”

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
