Covéa Insurance has restructured its management reporting lines with two senior promotions, as its integration with Sterling continues.

Gary Yeates, previously head of pricing, has been promoted to director of pricing and underwriting, while Sue Coffey has been promoted from head of personal lines distribution to director of intermediated distribution.

Both appointments will report to deputy chief executive John Blundell, who earlier this year moved to Covéa from Sterling, as they continue merging both companies after Covéa’s purchase of the high net worth insurer.

Blundell said: “We’re establishing a structure that fosters even closer working relationships between our distribution, product development, underwriting and pricing functions so that we can continue to develop and build our technical capabilities to deliver even stronger solutions for our broker partner.”

The appointments are part of a focus by Covéa on personal lines broker relationships.
