Lloyd's syndicate RJ Wallace and Others and broker Marsh are two of the insurance industry players behind the new Millennium Wheel which will soon be spinning over the River Thames.

RJ Wallace, which recently merged with rival syndicates Bankside and JM Murphy, has at least two exposures. These include professional indemnity policies while the wheel is being lifted and lowered into place, and general construction third party cover. Marsh is the broker on the liability side.

However, it is not known whether the Syndicate had any exposure for the recent lengthy delays that London Eye experienced in erecting the wheel.

The 2025 Insurance Times Awards took place on the evening of Wednesday 3rd December in the iconic Great Room of London’s Grosvenor House.

Hosted by comedian and actor Tom Allen, 34 Gold, 23 Silver and 22 Bronze awards were handed out across an amazing 34 categories recognising brilliance and innovation right across the breadth of UK general insurance.
Many congratulations to all the worthy winners and as always, huge thanks to our sponsors for their support and our judges for their expertise.
