Cox has announced three new acquisitions for the start of 2004, having snapped up Eastwood Insurance Services, Southdale Insurance and BR Insurance.
Eastwood Insurance, based in Bishop's Stortford, has over 4,000 personal and commercial lines customers, while BR Insurance, a high street broker with branches in Alfreton and Sutton-in-Ashfield, also sells both personal and commercial lines products.
Southdale Insurance has over 1,800 personal lines customers who will be transferred to the Doncaster branch of Cox-owned insure-shop, with all Southdale staff staying with the company.
Cox said the acquisitions fitted in well with its broking division.
