Loss adjuster appoints three new chief executives in EMEA/Asia Pacific unit

Crawford & Company has announced a major shake-up to its senior management team as it looks to expand the business and build on its global market position.

The changes are the latest step in the loss adjuster’s restructuring plans, announced in January, and see the appointment of three new chief executives under a combined EMEA/Asia Pacific region unit.

Under the leadership of EMEA chief executive Ian Muress, Benedict Burke has been promoted from chief operating officer to chief executive of UK and Ireland; former operations manager of continental EMEA, Charlotte von Krogh, will now be chief executive overseeing those regions; and Richard Martin will continue as chief executive for the Asia Pacific business but will now report directly to Muress.

Muress said: “These developments strengthen the existing management team and allow us to leverage best practice across a much wider geography for the benefit of our clients.”
